The machine's powerful CO2 laser can cut and dimension wood and acrylic up to 1/4'' thick, and engrave glass, marble, granite, anodized aluminum and Thermark-treated metals. All of this is done with CNC-like precision and photographic engraving quality, providing professional results at an excellent price point.
Engrave custom messages onto hand-turned pens and signs, cut out precisely fitted pieces for puzzles, models and intarsia, or design your own prototypes. Want to engrave an emblem onto a large, fully assembled conference table? No problemthe removable floor means that you can direct the laser onto objects of unlimited size, and even non-flat surfaces. The package includes basic design software for simple projects, but you can use any Windows application that will print to a standard printer, whether that's a simple word processor, or advanced design software like Adobe Illustrator or Autocad. Also included in the package are a water pump for cooling the laser tube, an air compressor to clear smoke from the lens during cutting and an exhaust fan that allows easy venting to the outdoors (much like a clothes dryer).If your machine will not be vented to the outdoors, a Small Fume Extractor is required.
